Students can now study through Bethany and work toward earning a Diploma in Theology or the Bachelor of Divinity degree from the University of London. The University of London is one of the world’s leading academic institutions, internationally recognised as a centre of excellence.

The University of London was initially established to act as an examining body for its Colleges and other ‘approved institutions’.  It was formally granted permission to do so by King William IV in 1836 and the University acted solely in this capacity until 1858.

“The University of London External Programme is the oldest distance learning programme in the world – their degrees have been accessible to students worldwide since 1858. Today, they have over 40,000 students in more than 180 countries studying 100 different courses.”

While Bethany has its own set of beliefs and standards, it is providing assistance to students who wish to earn an accredited degree from the University of London.
