In conjunction with the Association of Certified General Ethicists, The Ethicist's Professional Association, Bethany is pleased to offer a Doctor of Applied Theology with a Concentration in Ethics.

The DAT is presently the only degree recognized by Certified General Ethicists (CGE) for Membership in their Association. Bethany is listed as an Academic Partner (http://assoc-cge.org/Programs.html) on their website.

Students should apply for Student Membership in the Association of Certified General Ethicists (http://assoc-cge.org/uploads/Membership_Application.pdf). This will facilitate your opportunity to practical work towards your profession. The fees are tax deductible. Employment in the field of ethics is necessary. The Association of Certified General Ethicists will work to provide opportunities, if the student has no suitable position.

All courses in this DAT have been evaluated by the Association of Certified General Ethicists.

PREREQUISITES

Prerequisite for enrolment in this program is an earned Master degree (36 credits minmum) or its equivalent, with a Theology / Ethics Major, from Bethany or an acceptable college.

Upon Completion of the above program of study, having met all the requirements, the Doctor of Applied Theology degree, concentration in Ethics will be conferred upon the student.
